Stuck? Befuddled? Wondering if you are stuck? Can't beat the darn game? 

Well FEAR NOT my friends, for help is on the way. This TXT file is devoted to hints and tricks to help you beat the game. 

FIRST: PLEASE TRY TO BEAT THE GAME ON YOUR OWN. The game is much less fun after reading these tips, and you'll ruin your gameplay experience. The entire game (speed played by me) takes only around 10 minutes if you know everything, so it'll take away the fun if you decide to RUIN IT by READING THIS FIRST. So DON'T!

The hints are divided by rooms. I won't tell you what to do (this isn't a walkthrough) but I will give you some hints. The hints are laid out so that if youare only a bit stuck, you won't have to cheat, etc. There are three catagories: Basic, Medium, and STUCK!

GENERAL ADVICE

1. Conserve batteries. Remember some passageways and do them in the dark.
2. Turn the light off when the music changes. Dying isn't a good idea. 
3. Examine each room carefully. Every room in this game has a point.
4. Tread lightly; it is easy to die on the spikes.
5. Read all the library books carefully. They all offer general hints. 


BASIC HINTS

*General
There are three items you need to use the "Abiltiy" attribute, and none of them are keys. One of the items has to be modified before it can be  used. 


*Library

Read all three books carefully, especially the book on the far left bookshelf. What is it referencing too?

*Bedroom

There is an item to get here. There is a pathway to another room here.

*Bathroom

There are two things that can be "used" in this room, and both must be used to complete the game. 

*Kitchen

There is an item to get here

*Fireplace

There is a passage to another room here, but you'll need a key.

*Armory

There is an item to get here

*Study

There are three different things to examine here, and one is very important.

*Pitch Black Room

There is something north of you, but behind a wall.

*Skeleton

If you can't figure this one out, you are a retard

*Main Hall

If you can't go anywhere, go back and examine around. There are switches lying around that will turn spikes on and off.

The large gargoyle in the middle of the room has information. Examine it. 

*Upstairs

There are three rooms to visit here, as well as a statue. 

*Basement

Save before going down, because it is possible to get stuck here if you don't have a required item. 

Pick up anything that looks out of the ordinary.

The gargoyle is very important here. Make sure to examine it.



*******MEDIUM HINTS

*General
Two of the items are "knife" and "wetstone." The third is the one that needs to be modified. 


*Library
The book tells about solving a puzzle in a room by the bedroom. What room leads off from the bedroom?

*Bedroom
The bottle is here.

*Bathroom
A switch is here.

*Kitchen
The knife is here.

*Fireplace
If you have the key from the dark room, you can use it here.

*Armory
The wetstone is here.

*Study
There is a switch here that must be flipped.

*Pitch Black Room
The item here is a key. Start by going as far to the left as you can. 

*Main Hall
The first switch is by the gargoyle statue in the front room on the right.

*Upstairs
N/A

*Basement
The gargoyle uses a key.
The rope needs to be cut, but your knife is dull. Hope you have the three items!


*************I'M STUCK!!!



*General
The items are D-Knife, Wetstone, and a bottle full of water. 


*Library
N/A

*Bedroom
The bottle is here on the right hand side of the dresser.

*Bathroom
A switch is here in the drain. You can fill the bottle with water on the broken pipe.

*Kitchen
The knife is here on the right.

*Fireplace
If you have the key from the dark room, you can use it here.

*Armory
The wetstone is here on the knights helmet above the swords.

*Study
The switch is on the back desk.

*Pitch Black Room
Go as far to the left as you can, up as far as you can, right as far as you can, and down. It is in this general area. Retrace your steps to leave.  

*Main Hall
The first switch is by the gargoyle statue in the front room on the right.
The second switch is in the upper left hand corner of the main room.
The third switch is through the opened passage in the library.
The final switch is in the lower right hand corner of the room. 

*Upstairs
N/A

*Basement
The gargoyle uses the key the seleton gives you. Skeleton is to the south, gargoyle to the east. 
The dark room has a piece of paper you need. It also has a rope that MUST be cut with the S-Knife, which is acquired by getting the three items and using "Ability."
